I spent 8 VERY LONG years working in retail, dealing with the UK's worst customers, and I decided that this path was not how I was going to reach my full potential. I enrolled onto courses focussed on the creative arts and switched to part-time work. Ultimately, I found my true calling when I held an art session with The Disability Trust, I realised that helping people and supporting their progression made me feel alive.

MANY people told me I would suck as a teacher because of my shy characteristics, this is what really pushed me to prove them wrong! 2 art degrees and a PGCE later, I am working in adult education full time, and I love it.
